We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Our last 3 dogs have been large-ish working breeds, and I realized they, especially the huskies, were as intelligent as a 3-4 year old human child, but simply couldn't speak my language (which they understood just fine). It was our vet, who cared for our huskies, who always referred to his patients as "fur kids".
